The City of Lodi will be presenting a fireworks show at Lodi Lake this July 4th, 2021. Schedules, banned items, and more information for this American festival can be found here.
City of Lodi Parks and Recreations has announced an all day American festival at Lodi Lake for this year’s Independence Day! The event will begin at 10:00am with special activities and vendors located throughout the park. Best of all, an extravagant fireworks show is scheduled to take place after sunset at 9:30pm!
Parking for those with disabilities will be available on Laurel Ave. No parking will be available on the west side of Lodi Lake. The north side of the lake will be closed for July 3rd and July 4th.
Admission to most of Lodi Lake is free, but admission to Lodi Lake’s beach will cost $3.00 per person. Children two years of age and younger will not be charged admission. The Nature Area will be closed throughout the day, but boats can be rented from Headwaters Boathouse. According to Headwaters Boathouse, vessels will be restricted to the lake since rentals will not be allowed on the river that day.
Although there will be a fireworks show, and safe and sane fireworks are allowed throughout Lodi, all types of fireworks will be banned within Lodi Lake for this Independence Day festival. The following items will not be allowed within the park on the 4th of July: fireworks, firearms, weapons, knives, vehicles, bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, roller skates, BBQ’s, personal water crafts, glass containers or bottles, alcohol, animals, pets, and fishing poles.
Also not allowed: wearing attire affiliated with prompting, or sympathizing with a criminal gang, including but not limited to patches, colors and words that would create a public safety risk. All items being brought into the park are subject to search at the main gate entrance.
