For the third year in a row, Christmas trees must be dropped off at the Grape Bowl.
The City of Lodi and Waste Management are partnering to provide free disposal of Christmas trees. Drop off your live Christmas tree at the Grape Bowl North parking lot from January 3 – January 9, 2023. The North parking lot is located on Stockton Street between Lawrence School and the Grape Bowl Stadium. This free Christmas tree disposal service will be available each day from 7:00am – 5:30pm.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic began, Christmas trees were placed in the gutter by citizens and disposed of by the scouts. The City has requested that Christmas trees not be placed in gutters or leaf piles, as they will not be picked up.
Christmas trees and decorations are traditionally kept up 12 days after Christmas, until the Epiphany on January 6th. Luckily this disposal service is available between the 3rd and 9th.
