A second deceased individual was discovered in the Nature Area of Lodi Lake on the morning of Wednesday October 11, 2023. Information was shared on the community website nextdoor.com by Neil Adams the same day. The individual has yet to be identified, but Police believe the incident is a suicide.

Neil Adams has been an active member of the community and protector of the Nature Area located on the north side of Lodi. He urges everyone to attend the City Council meeting to voice their concerns. The meeting is set for Wednesday October 18, 2023 at 7:00pm, located at the Carnegie Forum at 305 Pine Street.
Another individual was found hung in the Nature Area on September 7, 2023. This person has now been identified as 43-year-old Justin Ballard of Lodi, CA. It has been reported that no foul play was involved in the death of Mr. Ballard.
